Many consumers are confused by the vast number of choices when it comes to mace and they are left wondering which size of mace canister is right for them. It is important to consider the following questions:
- Do you need this pepper spray to use at your home or keep it on you ? If you need on to keep on you I recommend about a 3 ounce bottle of pepper spray .
- Is it important that your mace canister not look like a canister of mace? Then you should pick from one of the many disguised bottles doubted
Do you need something to keep you safe while in the woods ? The large, bear guard pepper spray canisters like those seen in Dog The Bounty Hunter are extremely powerful when it comes to spray range and power but they are much harder to conceal than the smaller bottles . It is important to remember the tradeoff between power and portability .
