When it comes to self defense even the little things can help you live a safer life. In this case it can be as easy as keeping an imaginary circle around you and keeping strangers out of that circle.

Safety Awareness & Self Defense it is up to every individual . Avoiding and distancing yourself from circumstances that might cause you harm is up to you .

A great way to do this is by using what is called the safety boundary. The safety boundary is pretend circle that starts where you stand outward to approximately 7 to 10 feet. If you are conscious of what is coming towards your boundary you can potentially avoid a dangerous situation. If you are walking by yourself and someone you don’t know enters your boundary , you need to do what you can to get some distance from the unknown person . If that stranger wants to attack you . If you keep them outside that boundary of safety than this unknown person will not be able to reach you .

Following are a few pieces of advice for you own self defense awareness.

Don’t go walking around by yourself if you can . If you have something you need at the store .

Always attempt to be in a group, or try to be in public areas where there are lots of people around .

If you have to walk in the evening only walk where there are overhead lights .

Pay attention to locations where a bad guy could hide . This could be in alleys, by dumpsters, behind phone booths, ect. .

As you approach these potential hazardous areas extend your boundary of safety by distancing yourself from these obstacles.

If you follow this advice it has the potential to help you save your life .
Of course there are many other ways to keep yourself safe. You can use self defense products like pepper spray stun guns or personal alarms. Which all of those work great. But you want to do as many things as you can to improve you chances of being safe. So take this advice and use that to get started with.
